Job Title: Quality Control Officer, Progressing to Manager

Department: Quality Control

Job Description:

Rresponsibility for the management of all matters in the Quality Control laboratory and activities on the site including:

- Quality control testing of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products to GMP GLP standards, (HPLC, IR, UV, GC, ICP), Including stability testing.
- Meeting deadline for release of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products. Timeline and process management, method development, stability data, raw material supplier approval & environmental quality control
- Overseeing QC Technicians and reporting into the site QA manager
- Method development, method validation and preparing any resulting analytical in-house methods for raw materials and finished product testing.
- Writing/reviewing SOP's, testing specifications, method development protocols.
- Responsible for the maintenance, repair and cleanliness of analytical equipment and lab equipment.
- Preparation for external inspection readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement of the QC department.
- Providing regular reporting and feedback to the directors of the Company on all quality control systems in the Company.

Qualities and Experience:

- At least qualified to BSc level in a Science or Chemistry-related subject.
- 3- 5 years of experience in a Quality Control in a Pharmaceutical and/or Nutraceutical manufacturing facility.
- Experience in all of the above criteria
- A passion for people management and a desire to progress to a management role.
- Competent and experienced in GMP and GLP procedures and compliance management.
- Good communication skills in English.
