I am currently working with one of the UK's leading multi-disciplinary architectural practices who are seeking an Associate / Associate Director for their Residential Architecture Design department. My client has over 40 years' worth of valuable experience in the building industry, and deliver successful, cost-effective projects, whilst providing excellent customer support. The successful candidate needs to be a dynamic and well-motivated individual and must have a proven track record in delivering quality presentations and have negotiation experience for planning application submissions. The Associate / Associate Director will need the ability to handle a varied workload, and deal directly with a range of different clients, including major house builders. The right candidate will be able to provide direction to master planning, design statements, development briefs, design codes and detailed layout designs. We are looking for someone who is hands on as well as performing a supervisory and managerial role. Requirements: Ideally 7 years' experience working for a private sector residential architecture consultancy or practice Currently at associate level, or an experienced residential PtIII architect / senior architectural technician with a desire to progress Ability to design and draft residential feasibility and detailed sketch layouts, from concept to presentation level, incorporating LPA design standards Be able to provide direction to master planning, design statements, development briefs and detailed layout designs.
