My client is looking for a Sister/Charge Nurse Endoscopy looking to take the next step in their career!About the Client:The Endoscopy Unit works alongside staff within Theatre and Imaging departments in order to run a diagnostic and therapeutic service catering for both inpatients and day cases.There is one state of the art procedure room along with 3 fully equipped recovery baysDuties:An expert in your field, the Deputy Manager Endoscopy will take the lead in running an efficient service. The new Deputy Manager Endoscopy who will lead our existing endoscopy team and take them through the transition of a planned new Endoscopy Unit and towards achieving JAG accreditation. You will mentor and support junior Endoscopy Nurses providing knowledge and teaching where appropriate.Procedures such as Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy, ERCP and capsule Endoscopy will take place in the department.The Deputy Manager Endoscopy undertakes annual training needs analysis ensuring staff meet both CPD requirements and department business needs.About the Individual:In order to be successful in your application to the role of Deputy Manager Endoscopy you will need to be a registered Nurse with a valid Pin Number.You will be required to provide evidence of your expertise within all areas of Endoscopy including decontamination experience.The GIN course and mentorship course is desirable.Sound knowledge of Jag accreditation and GRS will ensure you thrive in this role.Benefits:We'll look after you with our contribution pension scheme, the use of all facilities for acute medical conditions, annual salary review, 25 days holiday each year and access to a fantastic flexible benefits scheme.
