Our client, an extremely progressive independent Multimodal Freight Forwarder is seeking a Junior Business Development Manager to help grow their thriving company Responsibilities and Requirements: · A mix of regular visits to ongoing accounts, cold call selling on potential customers and working with the branch teams to maximise the potential of customers identified in branch. · Providing customers with quotes · Negotiating terms of each specific piece of business and closing the sale · Gathering and analysing market and customer information to better target potential sales · Proven sales track record of gaining new business (Ideally within the freight forwarding industry) and successfully working to and exceeding Sales Targets. · Excellent relationship building skills · Identifying new business opportunities and the ability to close successfully. · Ability to prioritize, organize & manage time efficiently is essential.
