We provide comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation and therapy and specialise in the treatment of patients with a primary cognitive or behavioural impairment resulting from a brain injury or other neurological condition. We also care for patients who are no longer able to be cared for at home but who with some specialist help can take part in everyday activities and live as independently as possible. The centre is located in South East London close to Blackheath and Lewisham, directly on the A2 with Greenwich, Lewisham and Blackheath stations all close by. We employ staff in a variety of different roles and provide ongoing support with comprehensive training, learning and development opportunities.In your role as a Nurse Team Leader (RGN) you will have responsibility for providing leadership and guidance to the nursing team and ensuring the effectiveness of the team in the delivery of excellent standards of care; promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.So as a Nurse Team Leader (RGN) what do you need to do to make this happen? Supervise and lead in the person's care and to plan, implement and evaluate their care plans with the staff involved in their care delivery Work with the Senior Team to ensure occupancy levels are achieved and maintained Take a leadership role in implementing change as required Identify their care needs in conjunction with the person, their family and the team Promote high standards of nursing care for you and your team, by ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth efficient manner Ensure effective communication systems are established and maintained between clients, families, staff and external agencies Work closely with the Deputy Manager in the identification and recruitment of new staff Work collaboratively with the team through effective leadership and motivational skills Contribute in clinical reviews and nursing reviews ensuring accurate feedback on the person's care Encourage independence and personal choice and help to provide an environment which is conducive to patients with varied and complex needs realising their potential to live as independently as they can find possible Ensure that the team's skill and knowledge levels are able to meet the changing needs of the business.
