Position: Commissioning Manager-£60,0000 Salary: £60,000 plus excellent benefits Area: West London Care Group: Elderly/Dementia Care Company: Multiple award winning company requires Commissioning Manager for luxury care home- New provider within West London Our client is keen to hire an experienced Nursing Home Manager, Commissioning Home Manager, Area Manager, Operations Manager with commissioning experience to open a luxury service in West London. Due to the importance of this commissioning project, candidates must be highly experienced and must have managerial gravitas and successful history of home management and should have lead commissioning projects. This will be a premier, five star nursing home in the West London area which will be modern, state of the art, yet homely. Previous homes have won national awards for Best Care Home, Best Care Home Design and Best Care Team. The homes have facilities such as cinema, bistro, bar, library all of which are fully inclusive. It is set in beautiful surroundings and the care home provider has a brilliant reputation nationally. The registered home manager will oversee all aspects of commissioning. Job Requirements: • You will be involved with all marketing and home promotion activities. • You will take an active role in selling the home and developing links with local authorities and other outside organisations. • You will implement all care and business strategies and you will be in charge of hiring teams of nursing and care staff. • You will develop and manage a clinical team of nurses and help to ensure that the care delivered to service users in an excellent fashion. • You will join a caring, compassionate organisation whose primary aim is to ensure a high standard of life for all service users. • You will deliver person centred care and oversee all safeguarding issues. • You will ensure compliance with CQC standards and liaise effectively with CQC Inspectors. • Candidates should display excellent business skills including successfully filling beds and developing the homes profile within the local community. The successful candidate will be: - Must have a proven track record of maintaining excellent CQC reports for previously managed homes - Knowledge of quality standards - CQC legislation knowledge - Marketing skills - Commissioning experience is preferred - Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively - Strong planning and organisational skills - Good communication skills The care home provider is a small care and nursing home group with homes throughout the UK.
