Business Development Executive - Manufacturing - Chemistry - Engineering - Physics - Technical Sales - Permanent - Leeds - £30k Company Car & Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive with a scientific or engineering background to join a global leader in consulting and testing in process safety based in Leeds. The Role: You will be working as an integral part of the existing Business Development team, responsible for sales & business development activity within your territory, from initial enquiry through to quote generation. Responsibilities: Performing customer site visits & sales report generation and for scoping customer requirements from a commercial perspective. Building and enhancing customer relationships whilst converting clients into key accounts. Liaise with clients at a technical level by learning and understanding process safety science is a pre-requisite. Working closely with colleagues in the Consulting, Laboratory, Accounting and Business Development Support functions and will include the attendance of regular EMEA Sales Team meetings. Skills and Qualifications required: Degree qualified in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Physics. Technical sales exposure working within an engineering/ chemical process sector/ manufacturing environment. Client facing/field & telephone sales background with business development expertise. Prepared to undertake national & international travel when required Used to working in a targeted sales environment Good organisational/ time management skills Strong communication & IT literacy skills Numerate & fluency in English essential Full UK driving licence Salary £30k Company Car & Benefits This job was originally posted as
