You can expect to be working in an environment that promotes the development of your skills and knowledge.Job DescriptionAs the Senior Staff Nurse in our IVF clinic you will be advising couples undergoing fertility treatment on what to expect in regards to their treatment and 'hold their hand' through each stage, ensuring they receive the support they would expect. You will also provide them with instructions on best clinical practice and teach them how to self-inject. As this is a very large and busy department you will be expected to get involved and assist the team to meet their team goals and will mentoring and develop junior members of the nursing team.Salary £35,673 - £40,401 + 4% shift enhancementHours 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday between 8am - 7pm in shift patterns - also 2 in 4 weekend daysDuties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain a high standard of ultrasound imaging in accordance with BFS guidelinesLiaise with clinicians, nurses and all paramedical staff to enhance patients treatment and careCarry out clinical duties in a professional and compassionate manner in accordance with HCA International and HFEA guidelinesResponsible for the scheduling of patient treatment cycles, liaising with GP's to arrange prescription and drug administrationLiaise with wards and staff within the Lister Hospital to co-ordinate treatment and increase awareness of patients' needsSkills & ExperienceRGN, NMC registered with PINSignificant experience in an IVF settingUltrasound scanning in a fertility settingEvidence of professional updateProven leadership skillsAbout The IndividualThe successful candidate will have the ability to communicate sensitively with people from all cultures and backgrounds, as they will have a passion for delivering customer service and a desire to provide an exceptional patient experience.
