Company Information: My client, a 5-star world renowned hospitality resort, is seeking a Sales Manager for the Midlands and North area to join their team. The main focus of this role is to fully develop new and existing relationships within identified markets in accordance with the Corporate Relation’s working plan. Main Responsibilities: To build and develop new business relationships with companies and clients in your specified area To be fully briefed at all times of special promotions, rates and offers and to be able to sell these to your clients To ensure that your client base is made aware of all sales opportunities within the designated market To communicate with the events and reservations teams to ensure clear communication of information from clients To promote and participate in strategic Corporate Relations Events as required To attend weekly meetings providing information on forthcoming appointments and review of previous weeks’ appointments and action points documented To attend a Monthly Corporate Relations Meeting and provide details of all activity for the previous and forthcoming month in a report format and follow your work plan As Sales Manager you are responsible for the achievement of the budgets as set by VP Operations and Business Development Director The Sales Manager works towards achieving individual targets and the Resort budget and be fully aware of personal progress and that of the resort at all times Skills & Knowledge: You will need to have excellent communication skills with a professional manner and to be reliable and enthusiastic. You will need to ensure all of the team are motivated and focused on converting every sale and lead by example. Previous experience in the hospitality industry at a similar role is essential along with the use of Delphi, Opera, Concept and Lotus notes.
