We are looking for a Director Capital Markets Location: London and worldwide Job type: Permanent Job status: Full Time Career level required: Executive (Director, Department Head) Education required: Masters degree or postgraduate certificate/diploma Salary: £90,000 pa Pension BUPA Job Responsibilities and Description: To lead the capital markets initiative for the company, in connection to debt offerings; equity offerings; IPOs; structured finance / securitization, factoring, vendor financing, credit insurance etc. To build and lead an investment team to look after the company’s international Mergers and Acquisitions strategy, execution and closing of complex loan transactions, including, but not limited to new deals, refinancing, cross-border transactions, acquisition financings Review loan documentation for operational feasibility, optimal execution mechanics, regulatory requirements and mitigation of operational risk. Review internal loan related spreadsheets (e.g. funds flows) for accuracy and completeness Liaise and coordinate pre-closing requirements with internal and external clients (i.e. Debt Capital Markets, Syndicate, Agency Services, Borrowers and Lenders). Review and advise on funding mechanics and operational requirements To lead discussions with credit rating agencies to get favourable credit ratings for the company Take leadership roles on projects and provide valuable input with various working groups created to enhance performance and efficiency. Develop existing and new client relationships, including both issuers and investors, actively collaborate with partners in other areas of the firm - in Germany, Europe and globally- to identify and pursue business opportunities by providing solutions Skills and Qualifications required: Proven experience in capital markets, investment banking, M&A and fund raising on a global basis, including in Middle east, Asia Experience in P&L leadership within international group holding structures Track record in various market sectors including real estate Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Finance Understanding of commercial banking products and services Excellent problem solving and communication skills Closing Date: October 22, 2016 This job was originally posted as
