The client has worked on world renowned projects - this particular role will see you lead on a variety of energy and sustainability related disciplines. They are one of the most respected firms in the industry, with one of the highest performing sustainability teams in Europe. The Role: An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Sustainability Group based in Hampshire for an experienced and enthusiastic Associate Sustainability / Energy Consultant to join their expanding team of dedicated specialists on a full time basis. The main responsibilities would be to deliver large complex and niche projects on time and to the highest technical standard along with team management support. You will need to be both a team player working within a multidisciplined group assisting the more senior consultants along with helping and encouraging the more junior members, as well as having the initiative to work alone. You will oversee the completion of thermal / energy modelling of buildings using TAS, building physics CFD modelling, provide planning and design advice, renewable energy feasibility studies, report and proposal writing, and liaise with clients. You will also be involved with business development and team management. The Individual: Applications are sought from candidates with 8 years' sustainability / energy experience gained within a consultancy, across commercial offices, residential schemes, education, retail, and mixed use developments. You will have proven ability of leading a team(s), managing large complex projects, budget control, and business development. You will also have excellent knowledge / expertise in sustainability building design, renewables, and low carbon technologies. You will have a BSc/MSc in an environmental or engineering discipline, along with membership of a relevant professional body. A proactive and approachable professional with a flexible outlook, you will have excellent communication skills at all levels, and have the ability to take the initiative.
