OOH (Out of Home Media) Account Manager London £35,000 DOE ABOUT THE ROLE The role sits within the agency planning team of 5 people. Key Internal relationships are with the Group Account Director, Account Director and Senior Account Manager Working in a team of 5, the Account Manager’s main role is to assist the planning and implementation of OOH campaigns from initial brief through to post campaign analysis. We require an individual who has excellent attention to detail, great knowledge of standard applications (such as Excel and Powerpoint) and is competent with industry tools (Route and Ebiquity/ Nielsen) KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Requirements: • Take responsibility for client work e.g. attending agency/client briefings, taking ownership of briefs, managing client demands & expectations etc. • Ability to work on bigger, more complex client briefs. • Present market updates. • A basic but thorough understanding of Route methodology. • Able to clearly articulate the role of planning tools. Responsibilities: • Day-to-day management of an Account Exec e.g. understanding & helping to manage workflow. • Help mentor an Account Exec – playing a key role in their development. • Become a guide for the junior members of the team in a manager’s absence. • Feed into the appraisal process for the Account Exec. • Putting together detailed media plans • Assisting senior team members as required • Market analysis and reviews • Competitive analysis • Post-campaign analysis • Pulling together information for presentations such as TGI runs, Audience Data • Photography of campaigns – including occasionally going out of the office to take emergency shots of OOH sites ABOUT YOU Essential • Experience working in the OOH industry • Attention to detail • Strong oral and written communication ability • Good level of numeracy. • An interest in media and advertising. • Graduate with at least 2:2 degree or equivalent working experience. • Professional and positive attitude. • Supportive team player yet confident to work autonomously. • A flare for project and time management. • Creative yet analytical mind. • Flexibility and adaptability. • Excellent problem solving skills. • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft programmes (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel etc.). • Good interpersonal skills. • Willingness to develop and succeed.
