We are currently recruiting for a talented, motivated and ambitious assistant site manager to join our growing utilities team based in The South West. As a procurement manager, you will be supporting the pre-contract team in the procurement of subcontract, materials and plant goods to programme and to the commercial advantage of the company and report for business unit and ensure appropriate input into pre-construction process for the business unit. You will need to be competent in high value projects, leading from the front, where you will be proficient in NEC3 forms of contracts, within a civil engineering environment Already experienced as procurement manager, you will be ideally a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent qualification, knowledge, skills and training. You will have extensive experience of supporting various Contract teams and have trade experience including civils, structures [FRC/Steel], M&E, cladding. Your ability to demonstrate strong process and procedural capability will work in your favour and an ability to work with multi-disciplined Contract Teams, experience within regulated industries will be a distinct advantage.
