We are currently looking for a Lead Scientist with experience of LCMS Bioanalysis to join a leading life sciences company based in the North Yorkshire area. As the Lead Scientist in Bioanalysis you will be responsible for leading and study directing GLP Bioanalytical studies. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Lead Scientist in Bioanalysis will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. Serve as the scientific point of contact for the client, working directly with the client to determine project requirements. 2. Communicate and monitor scientific expectations with scientific staff and clients, giving scientific directives to the study team. 3. Ensure client programs meet company, client, and regulatory requirements, i.e. GLP. 4. Develop and review protocols and sample analysis plans. Review data with the method development team to ensure methods are ready for validation. Approve validation methods and reviews sample analysis methods. 5. Provide technical support as needed. Assist with efforts to troubleshoot and solve assay problems. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Lead Scientist - Bioanalysis we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1. Relevant BSc, MSc or PhD in a relevant discipline, and you will also have gained experience in study directing and sponsor management in a similar environment. 2. You will also be expected to have relevant technical experience, in particular with bioanalysis, and a range of LC-MS/MS techniques directly related to bioanalysis.
