We are working with a company based on the South Coast in Hampshire looking to recruit a QA Professional.

You will either be a Quality Assurance / QA Engineer looking to move onto the next level in their career or be a Quality Manager looking to mould a quality department at an up & coming company who have shown some significant recent growth and are looking to expand further.

Although i have detailed a brief description below the main area of interest with this client is for you to have exposure to aerospace / defence or similar quality standards (ideally AS 9100 or similar or EASA standards) and have drive and enthusiasm to work with an expanding company.


Responsible for the development, maintenance and improvement of the company Quality Management System (QMS). Responsible for developing and implementing robust quality control documents, plans, procedures and process flows which enable the company to maintain its AS9100 approval and gain further accreditations as required by the business, such as EASA Part 21, Sub-part G, and SC21.

Although the role is officially for a Quality Manager, the company are very happy to discuss this role with either a senior QA or QC Inspector looking to make a move into management. the role will involve internal auditing and dealing with external auditors, so good client facing skills and previous experience of dealing with customer/external auditors would also be required

To mentor and manage all quality team members, motivating, encouraging and directing them in matters technical and operational.

Control the QMS ensuring documentation is accurately maintained and updated as required

Monitor and measure company KPI`s and implement new KPI`s that add value to the business

Write First Article Inspection reports to AS9100 standards

Develop and maintain the company audit schedule, being an active member of the audit team.

Proactively advise management of any issues that will affect delivery.

Carry out problem investigation / Root Cause Analysis / corrective and preventative actions for any Non Conformance reviews, using 8D methodology

Lead the PFMEA/Control Planning/Process Flow activity

Salary £28 - £35k. Should you be looking for a salary in excess of these bands, it may be considered on a case by case basis
