Role and Responsibilities
We are now recruiting a confident, detail conscious and numerate HR Business Analyst who will report in to the HR Director and will be based at our Head Office in Ashford, Middlesex with occasional travel to our UK HR Shared Services & Finance Functions based in Lancashire.
This hybrid role is an integral part of our HR team and has the potential to make a real impact on our `go for growth` agenda. You will partner closely with our Finance and Payroll teams and bring meaningful insight and value to the business by identifying people related opportunities and risks by combined analysis of HR data and business data.
Compile and analyse HR data to provide decision support to help drive the strategic agenda on topics such as absence management, talent attraction, succession planning, development and engagement, cost management, and retention.
Provide accurate information on which the HR team can make fact based decisions and `talk with data`.
Prepare and publish monthly headcount and employment cost reports (actuals and forecasts) and analyse performance against plan and potential future actions; prepare and publish weekly and monthly KPI reports.
Monitor and identify trends
Establish a baseline of HR Process outputs across all priority areas of HR Management practice.
Enable the HR team to measure their performance and to strike a balance between HR Added Value and administrative support.
Works closely with the HR Director, UK Finance and HR Shared Services

Experience and Qualities
Of graduate calibre with at least three years` experience in a HR Analyst or Finance environment (FP&A) with a clear desire to move into HR and Workforce Planning.
Well versed in providing HR MI in a large organisation or experience in relation to Employment Cost/ Manpower data.
Ideally you will hold either a CIPD or CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualification and you will be an Advanced Excel user with proficiency in the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, HLOOKUPs, and other more complex formulas. Adept in building and merging spreadsheets, manipulating data and writing suitable formulas from scratch. Excellent use of PPT and Word are also essential.
Previous use of HRIS tools would be an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent commercial and business judgement abilities, well organised with the ability to work in a highly pressured and dynamic environment
Solutions focused and possess a thorough understanding of operational and logistical challenges faced by a busy HR team, both field and shared service centre based, within a multi entity, fragmented business.
Experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders to ensure that data is submitted on a timely basis and results are correctly interpreted.
