Our client is a leading global paint manufacturer with several production facilities around the world. They are enjoying considerable success in the UK, it is anticipated that there will be a continued high growth in 2016. Following further investment in the UK, they are now recruiting Sales Professionals to join the UK Sales team. This role would suit a dynamic Sales Professional who enjoys the freedom to manage their time and develop their business relationships. Results orientated you will need to be self-motivated and have well developed time management abilities to ensure the continued success and growth of the business. Key Tasks: Take responsibility for developing sales of products in North East England. Develop customer base through regular visits including site visits and telephone conversations, concentrating on painting contractors and developing relationships with local authorities, architects and other specifiers. Research and identify new projects and new customers. Develop, implement and maintain effective communication with current and potential customers Provide a comprehensive technical service to customers including trouble shooting problems through analysis of problem and providing a solution. Produce specification quotes and tenders utilising in-house specification software. Monitor competitor activity including new product introduction and disseminate information to Business Director. Contribute to the business UK activities through regular sales meetings, attending trade shows and following market trends. Communicate with the UK Sales Manager and colleagues on a regular basis. Diagnose causes of customer complaints, offer solution and relay information to UK Sales Manager Invest in relationship development providing excellent customer care in an efficient manner. Candidate Profile: Proven track record in sales of decorative and protective coating products. Extensive contact with painting contractors, architects and local authorities. Excellent business relationship management skills Technical understanding of paint and its application to different substrates Current UK driving licence Have the right to work in the UK In return our client is offering a highly competitive salary, un-capped bonus, car and benefits.
