We are seeking to appoint a Pupil Premium Learning Mentors to join a friendly, mutually supportive team. We are looking for a suitable person who can attend to the educational and personal needs of pupil premium students in order to support their learning and development and to promote their well being.

The successful candidate will be proactive, positive and flexible, and be able to work as a team member planning and implementing intervention work with students and supporting them in their progress.

As support with Maths and English in particular are a key part of this role, Learning Mentors must have a minimum of C grade in GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.

The successful candidate should have good organisational skills, an ability to think quickly and communicate effectively. A willingness to motivate and encourage young people is essential, as is a good sense of humour.
