Due to growth, they have an exciting opportunity for a Trainer Assessor specialising in Business Skills to deliver the full apprenticeship framework in Business Administration, Customer Service, Team Leading and Management. This is a full time role, and will include travel within the East Midlands. Enhanced DBS clearance is also required.

In line with the awarding body standards, vocational competence and functional skills standards, you will guide and support learners performance and knowledge, to progress them onto suitable higher qualifications. You will manage your own caseload, carrying out observations, assessment planning and evidence collection to ensure learners achieve their targeted qualifications within prescribed timescales.

Continuously striving to build, maintain and improve relationships with both learners and employers, you will keep up to date with the changing Apprenticeship landscape. You will also support developments and change within the business as well as actively sharing best practice and providing support to other team members.

The Individual

You will have the ability to work on your own initiative, with the ability to plan effectively and prioritise conflicting demands. Holding a relevant Assessor and / or Verifier qualification, you will also have a relevant sector qualification and / or occupational competence at level 3 or above.

The ability to deliver management up to level 5 would be a distinct advantage.

The role will require travel within the East Midlands and beyond so a driving license and access to a car is essential.
