Our client has a vacancy for a Business Development Manager. This is a fast-paced but extremely rewarding role that will allow self-development as well as growth of the overall business. Essentially, the success of the sales department will ultimately be the success of the business as a whole. The role will help to develop new business clients, particularly from marketing and PR agencies, retail, FMCG, tech and consumer brands. You will be involved in generating and leading business pitches to win new business, as well as helping to maintain existing accounts. Experience of working within an agency or sales promotion environment would be ideal. You will be an experienced Account Manager or Business Development Manager who won't be frightened of generating new business and building up contacts. A keen eye of what's happening in the world of marketing would be an advantage but you will have a burning desire to be part of a successful, vibrant and truly creative company. You will have experience of working on new business pitches and winning them The role is a targeted and you have the ability to increase your salary by generating successful leads Requirements • Be confident with written and verbal communication and presentation skills. • Drive to win • Interest in travel / sales promotion. • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines • Attention to detail • A consultative and solution based sales approach; • Ability to adopt different sales styles to match customers requirements; • Ability to priorities leads and maximize revenue generation via sales pipeline control; • Commercially astute; • Confident working on own initiative; • Excellent relationship building skills; • Entrepreneurial spirit.
