Business Development Manager - HGV Sales - Truck Sales - Field sales Manager - Regional Business Sales Manager is required to sell Trucks/HGV's in the South east Territory for a major Truck / HGV manufacturer, covering, Wiltshire, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire, and also manage a number of sales executives within the region. A purely field sales based role. ROLE: Regional Business - Manager - Truck Sales LOCATION: South East: Kent, Surrey, Wiltshire, Hampshire BASIC SALARY: £43k to £50k OTE: 20% Bonus BENEFITS: Company car, laptop, mobile, pension, healthcare. ROLE: Primary function is to develop Truck Sales, Contract Sales, ‘Soft Offer’ Sales and Services in line with annual targets, volume and margin with both Regional Key Accounts and Retail customers within assigned territory - The South East England Selling and negotiating with dealer on a portfolio of Regional Key accounts and Retail customers to deliver Volume, GP, and strategic objectives in line with business plan through assigned dealers. Daily interface and shared responsibility with the Dealer for all Transport Solutions sales. Manage offers to dealers within guidelines agreed with Network Truck Sales Director. Develop dealer sales staff through coaching, assisting in key dealer customer visits and negotiations. Building relationships with Key dealer personnel to develop way of working together. Building relationships with Key local customers and retail fleets. Develop with Dealer Sales Directors and Sales Managers business development plans and sales strategies incorporating business growth, sales competence development and CRM development. To maximise a “Total Cost of Ownership” sales ethos through the dealer network. · Ensure Regular Business Meetings with dealers to review their performance against target, agree action plans and follow up in a timely manner · Develop close working relationship with SD’s, Sales staff & other dealer personnel · Gain detailed understanding of their business, business environment and sales opportunities within their region. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must have truck OR hgv sales experience, In addition to the job spec attached there is also a requirement for them to manage and Develop the Truck Sales Executives within the region.
