Our client who are specialist sub-contractors who manufacture, design and install Solar shading products, ie Louvres and Brise Soleil, are looking to recruit a Design Administrator to join their established team in the London region. You will be required to provide administration and support to the Design team, meeting the high standards and needs of both the Company and of their customers. Monitoring and maintaining all elements of administration. Duties include: Maintain a central electronic library of system information, standards, technical notes and guidance material Maintain upload/download all required files accordingly Maintain and monitor document registers relating to each project Distribute and monitor external information requests and convey received information back to originator Monitor and record all comments received on drawings and download/distribute where appropriate Upload and download all required files on behalf of the Design team and download reports when requested Check that documents issued for distribution are compliant with Company standards. Education: Ideally a Graduate with some relevant experience working within a design department previously Experience / Knowledge: Should have good knowledge of IT with experience using AutoCAD, 4Projects and Revit knowledge beneficial but not essential. Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook packages This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to pursue their career within a Construction design environment where training and on going career development will be available.
