Our client is currently looking for a passionate and talented Sous Chef to assist their new head chef with their 2 Rosette kitchen within a modern hotel in the heart of Cheltenham. The bar and brasserie has been awarded 2 Rosettes for the past 6 years producing consistently high quality food using fresh, local produce. The modern 40 seater restaurant is busy with bookings from discerning locals and residents, the restaurant also caters for private dining and events all year round. The hotel has 31 unique bedrooms and is part of a small group of 9 high end hotels that spread across the Cotswolds providing all guests with a luxury experience. The Role: Assisting with the running and maintaining the 2 Rosette kitchen Managing and developing kitchen staff Maintaining the 2 Rosette standard Assisting with the development and implementation of seasonal menus The Candidate: Previous experience as a Sous Chef at Rosette level Ability to manage and retain staff Ability to manage workload and delegate to junior staff Previous experience managing the kitchen budget and GP Benefits: Attractive salary Career progression Staff discount for overnight stays within the hotel chain 25% off all food purchases Immediate start Salary £26,000 - £27,000 Tips All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
