Our Client, a prestigious name in the Freight Forwarding industry is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the West Sussex region and be responsible for air and sea freight business growth across new and additional opportunities whilst supporting where required operation implementation. Responsibilities · Develop new and existing business relationships in line with agreed annual target. · Presenting the company to potential and existing clients through direct communications in face to face meetings, telephone and emails. · You will be expected to generate your own lead generation and appointment settings. · Create and be accountable for client’s proposals, contracts and further documentation following KWE procedure. · Managing and maintaining a pipeline together with ensuring the current CRM system is up to date with your activities · Work closely with sales and operations striving for synergy across relevant country managements to strengthen Group strategy. · Operations support as and when directed.
