Data Planning Manager Norwich £35,000 - £42,000p.a Our client is seeking a Data Planning Manager to join their well established marketing team. The business is committed to the delivery of high quality customer care and within the market is well known for their unique and contemporary designs. Key Responsibilities include: Develop innovative data capture and enhancement strategies that fuel greater customer understanding and facilitate increasingly relevant and timely contact. Reviewing and developing the contact strategy for all customer touch points. Day to day management and supervision of the team. Conducting regular one to one meetings with members of the team, to review performance, delivery and development needs. Identify all potential sources of data that could improve personalisation and effectiveness. Utilising analysis to create practical customer segments, introducing customer strategies to move customers up through segments. Manage data purchasing, processing and delivery via 3rd Parties. Management of external software and supplier relationships. Efficiently manage budgets to optimise the return for the business. To ensure adoption of new and innovative data techniques across all activities to create an entrepreneurial culture. Deployment of data mining models to underpin marketing activity, such as lapse, next best action and product recommendation. Planning and analysis of all 3rd party data campaigns and data enhancement programs. Designing and maintaining analytical and reporting tools to audit and maximise utilisation of available data. Designing and building best practice targeting solutions, through a deep understanding of the data structure and system architecture, ensuring highest data quality of deliverables. Implementing a data-driven culture through the adoption of a robust test-validate-refine approach underpinned by post campaign evaluation systematically actioned through appropriate campaign design. Extracting, preparing and analysing large data sets via hands-on SQL querying to validate campaign selection and post campaign evaluation and customer segmentation/profiling. Translating campaign insight and evaluation into effective presentations and pro-actively approach stakeholders with recommendations for improved contact strategies To work with technical delivery teams to ensure business requirements are met in delivering data-based technical solutions. Key Skills: Educated to degree level or equivalent Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role A proven track record of delivering data planning and data quality management for added value. Management and development of teams Strong analytical skills Experience in SPSS, SAS and FastStats The successful candidate will have previous knowledge in data targeting strategies, highly analytical, with experience in developing reporting dashboards; illustrating campaign effectiveness, customer profiling and modelling / segmentation. Someone who is happy to work as part of a team but also to be largely self managed. You will possess the ability to work with third party data partners, providers and agencies to capture innovative data and statistically robust test and learn strategies. You will be an excellent oral and written communicator with strong IT skills. This a great opportunity to work in an established team of like minded, dedicated professionals.
