Scotstaff Recruitment are exclusively recruiting on behalf of our client a 5 resort in St Andrews - Accommodation available. Details: This is an exciting opportunity to work for a5 Luxury Hotel & Spa that has a strong focus on Conference and Banqueting business. You will be the key person of contact for Conference and Banquets providing excellent levels of customer service. You will be the main contact for liaising with Conference organisers and Events organisers regarding their operational requirements and needs. Duties will include ensuring conference rooms are prepared, cleared down and serviced correctly for meetings, in accordance with function sheets. You will need to demonstrate vigilance to the security of the Hotel property, grounds and facilities at all times. You will be responsible for ordering and control of materials and supplies to the required level for both conference and events business, in accordance to budgets. You will need to ensure there is effective communications with all departments in regarding operational requirements for conference and events. You will ensure there is efficient and effective rotating of staff and that the department operates cost effectively in accordance with business levels. Requirements: We are looking for a candidate with proven previous experience in a busy Conference and Events role, ideally with experience in a 4/5 hotel environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the passion for providing outstanding customer service. We require an individual with a can-do attitude, who will be able to solve issues that may arise whilst on shift effectively and calmly. An individual who is organised is essential for the role, as well as being able to lead and motivate teams to successfully deliver during busy operational times. The candidate will need to be flexible with their working hours to ensure they are present during operational peaks. On offer is a great salary of up to £30,000 per year plus all the company benefits. You will also have 6 months accommodation available - after this you would be required to find local accommodation.
