Comp & Bens Manager - £70k - Surrey Our client is a fast growing Life Sciences organisation who are seeking an ambitious Comp & Bens specialist to manage all aspects of compensation and benefits workload for the regions specified. To provide technical and operational expertise in all areas of reward, compensation and benefits and ensure that engaging and cost effective reward packages are in place for all employees. Design and execute rewards solutions for both new workforces during geographic expansion projects and for employees embarking on an international assignment. Help develop and support global reward agenda. Comp & Bens Manager - £70k - Surrey key responsibilities: Provide advice to the business on reward policy and best practice. Provide guidance and counsel to HR Business Partner's on all elements of compensation, providing recommendations for salary adjustments, new hire offers, etc. Manage competitive benchmarking and high quality analysis in support of business initiatives as well as total reward strategies designed to attract and retain the very best talent. Maintain an awareness of appropriate pay markets and market data, including managing salary survey data submissions. Benchmark current remuneration packages within industry and sector. Provide guidance on trends and best practice to shape current/future compensation and benefit programs whilst observing local laws and regulation changes to ensure on going compliance. Assessment of existing benefit programmes to assure competitiveness in the marketplace and identification of cost efficient plan design opportunities. Management of the benefit plans renewal process, oversee administration and invoicing. Develop communication tools and materials to enhance employee understanding of the company's rewards package including conducting employee information presentations. Manage and coordinate the annual compensation cycles for bonus, salary and equity review. Provision of compensation and benefit solutions for new workforces during geographic expansion projects. Design international assignment packages and expatriate benefit solutions ensuring compliance and cost effectiveness. Manage the execution of international assignments including arranging necessary visas and work permits, engaging relocation providers and ensuring a smooth process for the assignee and their families. Requirements: Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with attention for accuracy. Highly self-motivated and directed with effective organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to engage and influence all levels of seniority. Self-aware and capable of taking accountability for growth and development. Comfortable managing communications and updates upwards and within team. Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced matrix environment. Works without supervision on highly complex projects, with wide latitude for independent judgment. Ability to develop sound business cases and enable change.
