Finance Controller The Projects Finance UK has financial responsibility for delivering Sales, Margin and Cash across a portfolio of projects & services. This role requires strong operational partnership with the Project Management OTR organization and ITO organization, to successfully execute projects through robust financial analysis, controllership oversight, process improvement and overall risk management. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and have the ability to effect short- and long-term business goals, including the following: Driving sales, productivity & cash for contracts across the UK portfolio. Being in continuous contact with regional ops leaders (PM) and participating in key operational decisions affecting contracts. Leading continuous Contract analysis in terms of cost and cash variances, ensuring continuous updates to Project Managers & HQ Finance Drive portfolio OTR operating mechanisms (liaising between PMs & HQ finance), ensuring on- time and accurate communication internal and to HQ as well as reliable Sales & CM forecasts Producing robust analysis & support with adequate level of details, example includes Parts / FSE convertible pacing, FSE utilization, Change Order tracking, Rev rec pacing, etc Ensuring that contract cost controls are accurate, reflect the economics of the project, and are performed in accordance with the Global CMR policy & processes Ensuring the quarterly CMR process is run on a timely basis Ensuring Compliance with Global Revenue recognition policies Gain a solid knowledge of key IT systems that can help in managing /analyzing the contract financials and recommend /drive necessary system improvements Support the HQ OTR team in driving key Contract performance management process improvements Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with solid finance background Strong communication skills At least 5 additional years of experience in a financial position FMP, PFLP, CAS preferred Desired Characteristics PC proficiency Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Strong leadership and influencing skills Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues Demonstrated team leadership ability Established analytical and project management ability This job was originally posted as
