SALARY: £28,000 - £35,000(neg) Car, Bonus, Pension, Healthcare & Package LOCATION: Mansfield, East Midlands THE ROLE: This is an extremely rare and career defining permanent job opportunity that would perfectly suit a mechanical engineer with projects experience looking for progression within a nationally renowned engineering firm. This unique permanent position will give you the opportunity to lead a new mechanical sub-division within the engineering department working on mechanical projects within the water treatment and purification industry. Using your experience as a mechanical project engineer (or similar) you will perform a varied and challenging role which can be built around you core strengths and abilities. Typical duties will include > Interpreting client requirements into customised solutions > Building proposals > Working with manufacturing and design teams > Data sheet production > Producing relevant drawings and literature for project proposals You will work very closely with clients to propose solutions working as part of a larger engineering department on projects within the Food/Beverage, pharmaceutical, oil/gas and manufacturing industries. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Essentially you will be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience working in an industrial mechanical projects environment. You will be highly organised person with good attention to detail and commercial awareness. We are particularly interested in seeing applications from mechanical engineers who have worked in highly regulated environments. Any oil/gas industry exposure would be very suitable. Proven experience working with standard ATEX, ASME, ANSI, PED, EN etc would also be very advantageous. You will have excellent communication skills whilst being ambitious and driven in wanting to build a successful career. Experience with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD is required.
