Materials Engineer (Plastics) £30,000 - £35,000 33 Days Holiday Pension Re-Location Assistance Washington, Newcastle - upon - Tyne Are you a Materials Engineer from a Polymers/Plastics Manufacturing background looking to work for a global Automotive company who supply into JLR, Honda and Nissan? Are you looking to take the technical lead on specialist projects for a global Japanese company? On offer is a role where you will take responsibility leading the introduction of all materials including polymers, textiles, paint, flock, extruded foils etc, from initial concept through pre-production development and into full production. You will be tasked with identifying cost reduction opportunities through change of materials used. This company are happy to assist with any re-location costs if not from the North East. This business are a progressive, international company who supply into businesses such as Nissan and Honda. This organisation are heavily involved in development and training and have a multi-million pound turnover. You will be working within the design & development team and will have strong customer facing skills with an emphasis on providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders and customers. This position would suit a Materials Engineer from a Polymers/Plastics Manufacturing background, offering long term stability, technical progression and personal development opportunities.
