The Opportunity This is a great opportunity for an experienced Audio Visual Salesperson to work for a leading manufacturer of AV and Display products. You will be responsible for sales of AV products through the channel in the South East of the UK. You will be responsible for supporting the existing sales team in selling products but also to drive sales directly through resellers to end customers. The anticipated split is 50/50. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for prospecting and developing relationships with C Level Purchasing Executives in order to market and sell visual products, accessories and services To implement a top-down sales approach targeting Presidents, CFOs, CIOs and Marketing Managers to convert prospects into clients. To supply product information to selected customers in an assigned territory and/or arrange for business analyses of customers' business communication requirements. To develop benchmark demonstrations, proposals and value propositions that exceed customers' requirements resulting in the development of new customers and the retention of existing accounts. To organise and implement post-sale delivery and implementation of products at customer locations. To work closely with the sales representatives to identify business opportunities for company Solutions within the existing customer base To promote the company products and represent the Company at off-site customer meetings, trade shows and conferences. To identify contacts in accounts and conduct strategic calls. To serve as the first line of contact with customers. You will ideally be based in South East of UK (M4 corridor East) and cover that territory. Salary is £35k-£40k p.a. with OTE £50k plus company car and a very generous benefits package. You will need a full clean driving licence. Your skills and achievements. The successful candidate will have extensive technical understanding and background in AV technology and display solutions with a strong track record of success. You will also have: Experience with end customer project business Extensive experience providing technical and sales support for AV products Demonstrate a strong understanding of the AV market in the UK including competition A strong background in developing technical solutions that meet customer needs Strong IT and computer skills with current technical knowledge You will be a strong team player with the ability to coordinate efforts with sales reps and support the sales team to sell product Excellent communication skills with End Users. Evidence of persuasiveness and ability to negotiate with internal and external contacts Excellent presentation and demonstration skills Must be a self-starter with good concentration and ability to work accurately with minimum supervision Strong creative vision relative to applications, solutions and markets for company AV products Solid interpersonal skills in order to close deals The Organisation Our client is one of the world's leading innovative developers and manufacturers of Audio Visual technology.
