Payroll Officer Permanent Aylesbury £21,034 per annum plus benefits Our client a leading charity organisation are seeking a Payroll Officer to come in on a permanent basis within their offices based in Aylesbury. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Arrange the payment of staff salaries through the computerised payroll system. This will involve the collation and accurate input of all relevant information for the weekly and monthly payrolls (including new starters, leavers, benefits, contract changes, sickness absence payments, maternity and paternity pay); Ensure manual and computerised records are accurately maintained and updated; Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries; Provide advice to staff and managers in relation to pay, salary guidelines, taxation National Insurance and pensions; Maintain absolute discretion and maturity in handling sensitive/confidential ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act; Undertake payroll department ad hoc tasks, as required; Ensure that day-to-day tasks and routines are carried out to contribute to the smooth running of the department as a whole; Contribute to the success of the whole staff team by respecting colleagues and participating in team meetings and communications systems; If you are seeking to progress within payroll this is the perfect opportunity for you Call today for more information on this new exciting role This job was originally posted as
