A new opportunity has arisen with a global investment management firm, based in the City of London, who are looking to secure a Vice President within Human Resources specialising in Employee Relations to join their world class team. This Employee Relations Vice President role sits within the ER team and reports directly into the head of the ER team, which in turn reports into the Head of HR in the EMEA region. The global asset manager's Employee Relations team delivers effective outcomes in all areas of Employee Relations. ER team members will be directly involved with the internal clients in handling all aspects of disciplinary or performance management issues, grievances, short or long term leaves of absence and all kinds of parental leave. You may also be involved in projects with M&A and restructuring activity, including any necessary redundancies. Key Employee Relations Vice President Responsibilities: Own 'book of business' in terms of employee relations workload, partnering with BPs and legal in order to minimise risk to the firm whilst achieving the required business results Workload could include investigation of grievances, drafting performance improvement plans, managing disciplinary cases, reviewing business cases for involuntary exits, managing PHI cases, facilitating maternity and paternity leaves of absence and managing flexible working requests Partner with BPs, legal, Head of ER and Head of EMEA HR as necessary to keep all informed with progress of employee relations activities Provide support and guidance for the team's administrative/junior support Oversee creation and provision of any required reporting, data management, tracking of key HR metrics, analysing and presenting relevant reports back to BPs and Head of EMEA HR Assist with Project management of M&A activity or re-organisational exercises as required, including any related redundancy exercises Develop presentation materials as required Interface with specialist teams such as Learning & Development, Compensations & Benefits and recruitment as appropriate Liaise with ER Analyst and Employee Services to ensure that all employee transactions are processed accurately and in a timely fashion About you: To be considered to work as the Employee Relations Vice President for this renowned investment manager, you will ideally have experience from within the Financial Services sector and preference will be given to those from fund management or investment banking.
