Quality Control Engineer Location: Dartford, South East Company: My client is a top Train Operating company in the UK and have a vast number of trains operating over several different lines. They aim to recruit good quality, talented people with the right attitude. Role Summary: In the positon you will face challenges to accomplish your mission. Your mission, if you choose to accept it will ensure compliance to quality control and fleet safety processes and procedures within the Engineering department. You will defy the odds and drive continual improvement in the reliability, and customer satisfaction of vehicles entering service from engineering maintenance facilities by means of investigation, statistical analysis and technical audit. Most importantly you will be reporting to the Quality and Standards Manager on a day to day basis highlighting areas of weakness and opportunities for improvement, recommending actions. This is a great opportunity for you to come off the tools and to divert your skills, experience and career into Quality Control of rolling stock. What you need to bring to the table: In order to secure this exciting opportunity within engineering you will need a minimum of two years with working on EMU rolling stock with experience of working on systems, maintenance processes and fault finding. You will also need a minimum of NVQ Level 3/HND/HNC in an engineering discipline, proven problem solving and the motivation to make an impact in the engineering department.
