Working hours: 35 hours per week Job purpose: Drives Functional transformation by developing and implementing appropriate HR strategies, structures, processes and programs in order to establish agile and efficient, fit for purpose global line organisation with a sustainable top quality talent pool. Principal Accountabilities: Drives progress against BAT’s Legacy of Leaders and any other strategic agendas - driving convergence of strategies and initiatives with other functions where relevant. Ensure effective senior leadership succession, career development and assignment planning. Facilitate quality performance management processes (includes calibration), talent reviews and cross regional/functional moves for Senior talent. Ensure quality recruitment into the function and supports senior joiners/movers/ exits/ retention planning. Escalation point for operational HR issues - as required. Partners HRSS on any ER/IR matters. Sponsor the diversity agenda, and initiatives to embed understanding and practice across the function. Rollout/Train function on new HR processes and tools - as required Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required: A comprehensive knowledge of Group’s business, strategy and way of working Strong commercially savvy HR generalist, with significant experience as an HR BP in a global FMCG Solid understanding of strategy, policies and processes related to Talent, OE, Reward Understanding of global line functions set up and way of working. Previous above market experience will be an advantage Previous experience of playing a key role in supporting organizational changes Proven ability to persuade, influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders Excellent coaching, mentoring and relationship building skill Resilience / tenacity to deliver results in an environment of ambiguity Proven ability to learn quickly and is committed to self-development Experience of operating in a complex geographical / functional matrix organization Advanced facilitation skills Degree educated Experience of working in tobacco organisation P osting date: 20 th of September 2016 Role closing date: 18 th of October 2016 This job was originally posted as
