My client is a specialist occupational psychology organisation that develops new, leading edge assessment products and services reflective of trends in human resource practice and the requirements of employers. Products and services are sold and delivered across the UK and globally through a network of partner organisations and through international and its associated talent acquisition, talent development and leadership businesses. Job purpose To partner with leaders and clients to ensure that all client projects are integrated into a product delivery program and meet the strategic and operational expectations of clients. Accountabilities The creation and maintenance of a client delivery program that co-ordinates the planning and execution of all client projects, primarily from a Product and Innovation perspective but also recognizing the interface and dependencies across other group teams. This will ensure that priorities are clear and synchronised between all teams across the product delivery model. Maintain a rolling resource plan that ensures that projects are delivered to appropriate quality standards and timescales. Develop and maintain a register of all risks associated with business delivery to ensure that risks are proactively identified and mitigated. To provide an early warning of project delivery issues before they occur. Provide regular updates the Director of Product & Innovation, and the leadership team, on program progress, resource implication, dependencies and issues to ensure consistent and collaborative approach to project delivery and risk management. Support the preparation of all project documentation, including project initiation documents, project plans, resource plans and risk registers etc. to ensure the clear and disciplined conduct of projects. Liaise with Clients where necessary to ensure a clear understanding of project expectations and customization requirements and timeframes; manage client expectations and ensure awareness across project delivery teams Support multi-disciplinary project teams by providing project management expertise and discipline to ensure: (i) the appropriate use of project management tools and approaches, (ii) the successful delivery of projects and (iii) the delivery of the overall business plan and resource plan. Support the development of project management skills and knowledge within the company as part of the process of staff personal development. Knowledge and experience · BA/BS degree or equivalent · Master’s degree or other relevant post graduate qualification preferred · High level qualification in project management preferably including Prince2 Practitioner certification and MSP Practitioner level certification · Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects, preferably in a psychometric assessment or professional services environment and with a high degree of dependency on client facing technology · Knowledge of psychometric assessment tools and, preferably, methods of their on-line delivery · Good understanding of human resource management strategy and practice · Advanced proficiency in in MS word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint plus the ability to quickly become proficient in new project management software and other on-line tools Preferably, experience of working in a global organisation Desired Capabilities · Provide a consultative, client-focused approach to working with client and internal team, adding strategic value and building strong long-term partnerships. · Lead scoping efforts by building requirements both internally and externally and determining feasibility for custom solution requirements. · Balance action orientation, planning, and profitability while ensuring strong relationships. · Identifies critical issues with ease and works quickly, cross-functionally, and collaboratively to resolve. · Anticipate trends, uses emerging practices, and forms strategic plans when solving business problems. · Support and leads change. · Push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of industry practices and client mindsets. · Quickly understands the business and talent issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry. · Promote understanding and collaboration through strong situational adaptability, conflict management, and facilitating win/win solutions. · Act as a brand champion and internal role model, develops, trains, and mentors others. · Understand the components of running a fiscally successful project. · Possess understanding and experience in applying the knowledge areas of project and program management to professional consulting services projects and accounts in ways that increase value to clients and internal stakeholders. · Identify client organizational and business processes strengths and weaknesses and implements strategic plans.
