A highly successful scientific instrument manufacturer is seeking a high achieving Sales Manager to continue growth in the organisation. Based from home, with a global remit, you will be responsible for devising, managing and implementing the entire sales & marketing strategies in close collaboration with sales, marketing and applications teams. Along with attending conferences and visiting customer sites, you will monitor and record market/customer requirements to ensure that the company’s products are up to standard in terms of technology, performance, applications and price. You will also be required to make regular visits to company headquarters in the North West of England. Candidates must have experience selling (or product managing) capital equipment (mass spectrometers, HPLCs, UPLCs, GCs, ICP-MS, NMR, etc.) and have experience managing/devising sales strategies. Excellent communication skills are a must Candidates must be willing to travel up to 60% of their time in a global capacity to effectively manage the local sales teams.
