MYSTERY SHOPPING – RESPONSIBLE ADULT – FLEXIBLE WORKING (WEEKENDS, EVENINGS, SOME DAYS WITHIN THE WEEK) – START ASAP Cosine is one of the UK`s leading field sales and marketing agencies. Cosine is working in partnership with Camelot to conduct mystery shops for the National Lottery as part of “Operation Child” in local retail shops. “Operation Child” is a mystery shopper activity ensuring that retailers understand the importance of the age restriction process when buying a lottery product. The “Young Person” (16-18yrs) will attempt to buy a lottery ticket in the retail outlets and as the “Responsible Adult” you only get involved if a sale takes place. You will then need to engage with the retailer about the important safeguards. The role; Working as a Responsible Adult the role entails you to work alongside the Young Person when attempting to buy an age restricted lottery product from a retailer. The procedure when completing a call is very simple… · The young person will enter the shop and head towards the counter while looking out for any age signage. (Think 21, challenge 25) · They will attempt to buy a lottery product. · You will be in store and if a sale is made you will engage with the store staff where required. Who we are looking for; · Are you available evenings, weekends and any days in the week? · Do you have full use of a car and a UK driving licence? · Do you know a teenager aged between 16 and 18 years of age (who are under 5ft 4in female and 5ft 6in male) who can be your ‘young person’? (Desired) Required skills; · Approachable/Friendly attitude in order to engage with young person · Reliable and committed · Flexible · Working to deadlines in order to achieve visit targets · Highly organised in order to plan your day and journeys efficiently · Access to smart device or laptop to record results You will be required to travel to various locations within a postcode area, and transport your Young Person safely to the various stores. Start: ASAP - Your Regional Manager will need to meet with you prior to starting any work to go over a brief. This will be paid (subject to you completing calls) This will be arranged locally and at a convenient time for you. Hours: Evenings, weekends, weekdays (flexible) The hourly rate for this role: Rate: £2.65 per call plus 40p per call bonus (when all calls have been completed) plus mileage and expenses (paid with valid receipts) KPI TO COMPLETE A MINIMUM OF 30 CALLS PER WEEK WHERE CALL FILE PERMITS. Calls can be made between the hours 8am and 8pm. Working hours will be arranged with your Regional Manager.
