Briggs Equipment are the UK sole distributor for Hyster and Yale forklift trucks and a leading national distributor of materials handling equipment Here at Briggs we have an exciting new vacancy for a multi skilled engineer to join our team in Nottingham. We are keen to see CV’s of individuals who have experience within one of the following sectors; Forklift trucks, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, HGV's, passenger carrying vehicles or related machinery. Our Field Service engineers are responsible for; The service and maintenance of diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment Fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucks Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment Complete job activity electronically and ensure all required parts to complete tasks are ordered Ensuring the company vehicle is maintained to a high standard and correctly stocked Ensuring customer relationship are maintained and developed through high standards of service Call out Rota as required Our Field Service Engineer will demonstrate; Relevant technical qualification Previous experience within a similar role Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals The ability to work independently and under pressure The ability to manage and prioritise workload Understanding customer needs Our Field Service Engineers command; A base salary from £24,245 to £27,448pa based on a 40 hour working week Overtime is payable at X 1.5 Monday – Saturday and x 2 at weekends Call out Rota is payable at £20.00 for weekdays, £35.00 for weekends and £50.00 for bank holidays Vehicle is available for private use if desired (tax to be paid) Other benefits include; Contributory pension scheme Paycare health scheme 25 days holiday bank holidays Sick pay Profit share scheme after 12 months service In-depth product training with long term opportunities for personal growth and development Private use of the vehicle if the engineer pays the tax and fuel This job was originally posted as
