An immediate start has arisen for a Market leading employer based in Kettering as Interim Supply Chain Finance Manager. As point of contact for the Supply Chain team, ensuring accurate, insightful and robust reporting to drive Business performance. About the Interim Supply Chain Finance Manager role: This role will provide appropriate challenge and support to the manufacturing leadership teams in cost control and delivery and provide insight and impact in all interactions. The role will also engage regularly with Commercial Finance colleagues to ensure the business achieves maximum profitability. As Interim Supply Chain Finance Manager for this Market leading manufacturing business based in Kettering, you will undertake a holding role for 3-4 months whilst the business recruit a permanent individual into the Team. Responsibilities will be varied and encompass: To act as the business partner to the key points of contact in the manufacturing leadership team and their teams as appropriate To act as the business partner for all manufacturing financials; ensuring all KPI's are challenged, plans are financially robust and key stakeholders are managed, in Finance and the rest of the business Own the reporting and analysis of yield and direct labour and challenge the business and any external stakeholders as required Attending monthly and weekly meetings to review and represent the Finance challenge of KPI's Own the production of monthly management accounts, including detailed explanations/analysis and challenge and the issue of reports to all stakeholders ensuring integrity of the data Own, in partnership with the Operations team, the cost saving initiatives and ensure plans are robust and on track to deliver as per the agreed amount Own the monthly overhead reports for each Business Unit including in depth analysis and ensuring sufficient provision for potentially exposed expense lines Own the Balance Sheet for Finished Goods, Bought-in goods and Accrued Liabilities raising risks & opportunities in advance To lead and deliver the raw material gain/losses process and ensure timely delivery of reports to allow discussion and appropriate challenge with the business units Job Dimensions: £25m of Direct Labour costs £36m of Manufacturing Overhead cost £8m of Usage process losses. (v perfection) Finished goods waste £0.7m budgeted in 2016 Key Skills/Experience Required: Ideally degree educated but must be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with strong analytical skills Strong system experience (ideally in AX2012r3) Experience of dealing with and influencing a senior team and communicating effectively at all levels Strong analytical/advanced Excel skills are essential Ability to positively coach the Assistant Management Accountant roles helping to build their understanding and experience Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement ideas Strong investigation skills with a tenacity to get to the root of the issue Good time management with the ability to balance conflicting demands and tight deadlines Flexible, agile and driven to meet the ever changing demands of a market leading and growing business If you are immediately available and are a driven, self starter with strong stakeholder management experience this role could be for you, call me today for further details on 01908 044008.
