A global investment bank based in London is looking for a VP in the HR Business Intelligence team. The stakeholder group you would be working for is the Investment Banking Division. Previously the MI relating to headcount, cost management and compensation was produced by the Business Manager that worked with the CAO and 2 years ago this function was moved into HRMI team. Due to this legacy relationship the high touch stakeholder engagement is essential and although the role sits with the HRMI team there is a desk based on the IBD floor to be able to hot desk in particular around compensation season. The team have established standardised reporting for this business group but there often bespoke requests to support IBD strategy and requests from the head office overseas This is not your typical HR MI role. The core aspects of the role are: HRMI around headcount and analysis of the junior banker population Compensation including production of analytics around the bonus ask presentations Cost management for EMEA and some global aspects / budgeting activity and tracking against key personnel issues and changes Oversight of the HRMI production team in India Core responsibilities include: Support the global Head of MI on alignment of reporting and ad-hoc MI projects Oversee and provide support to offshore team in Powai to ensure accurate and timely delivery of BAU reporting Headcount and Cost Management: HR PE (personnel expense) forecasting model owner (run-rate and fiscal basis vs. budget), reported monthly to regional and global heads/CAO & HRAs Partner with Finance on developing standard approach to PE reporting that can be rolled out globally Responsible for headcount reporting, junior/senior banker ratios, attrition analysis etc. Liaise and provide analytical support to key stakeholders (strategy / CAOs / Finance) Ownership of the EMEA monthly profitability model Key input to finance processes: Rolling PE forecast / target investment area tracking / budget submissions Compensation: Key involvement in supporting the year-end compensation process, working closely with HR Advisors, Senior Management and other stakeholders to ensure the business is fully supported Build and maintain bonus models to support bonus ask process Provide analytical support in the preparation of the global bonus ask process Support market data analysis to ensure correct market benchmarking versus competitors Assist in creation of compensation pay grid for junior bankers Scenario modelling and provision of long term compensation plans in conjunction with the business strategy planning team If you are interested in this exciting opportunity please contact me or click to apply.
