Consequently, digital learning is becoming an integral part of their blended approach. Not satisfied with being average, they want to continue to increase engagement and innovation across the board. The Role This Learning Technology Manager / Senior Learning Technologist job will involve a combination of design & development of E-learning content, managing the LMS (Moodle) and helping others; by providing expertise and guidance on pedagogy and learning technology in general. You will also be responsible for working closely with the IT Manager in researching new trends and emerging technologies and implementing them where appropriate. The Person You must have a strong background in all areas of learning technology, ideally within a Higher Education / Further Education environment (not essential). You will have plenty of experience leading workshops and be proficient in the administration of a Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle. Furthermore, you will ideally have direct line management experience. The Rewards The basic salary on offer is between £35,000 and £40,000, depending on your level of suitability and experience. In addition, there is also an excellent benefits package on offer, including 25 days annual leave, contributory pension of up to 7% and life assurance.
