Software Based Identity Products Up to £80,000, 25%bonus, car, allowance and broad ranging benefits M3/M4 corridor plus International travel This Product Marketing Manager is a key role within the central marketing team of a major security products manufacturer that is widely recognised as the leader in its field. Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing responsibility is for the development and implementation of a product and service strategy that will provide long term growth, the profit and loss requirements, differentiation and continuance of the company’s reputation as the high quality, landmark provider in its sector. Focusing on software technologies the markets addressed are wide ranging, covering; smartcards, biometrics, databases, encryption and post issuance applications. The Product Marketing Manager role will: · operate within an international matrix structure · work closely with highly qualified development teams, commercial planning and sales functions · ensure that the company’s revenue and profit goals are met or exceeded in this sector which presents massive growth opportunity on an international stage. Ideal candidates for the Product Marketing Manager role will: · be technically qualified in computer science or a closely related physical sciences discipline, augmented by an MBA or comparable marketing qualification · have experience of one or more of the applications sectors indicated with a software product management background · have previous international experience and exposure will be relevant as will the ability to operate within a matrix structure across functional and international boundaries. · preferably have a track record of building solutions with a range of industry partners Success in the role will be heavily influenced by the personal qualities of the individual which must include refined communication skills and an ability to present and persuade based upon accurate market data analysis and advanced technical grounding which lends authority and direction to the evolving strategies.
