This is an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Care Home Manager to join the team at this lovely Care Home in Stockport, designed to support older people with dementia. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the senior management team and will support the Manager in all aspects of home management. The responsibilities of this role will include care planning, medication management, auditing, risk assessments, liaising with healthcare professionals, assisting residents with daily tasks, safeguarding, staff management and mentoring and, overall, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality care possible. This role is ideal for an experienced care professional who has worked with older people previously and understands dementia care. You must have relevant qualifications to support your application, including a minimum of NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care. The successful candidates must be dynamic and enjoy their role, as well as being a strong leader with excellent communication skills. Applications from experienced Senior Care Assistants with a varied skillset will be considered. This role works on a 3 on, 3 off shift pattern of 12 hour shifts, usually 8am - 8pm.
