Job Title: Senior Credit Risk Strategy Analyst Location: Chester Salary: Negotiable – Depending On Experience The Senior Analyst will be responsible for the development, tracking and forecasting of existing account risk strategy with specific focus on strategy testing programs and strategy development for balance growth through both proactive strategies and customer initiative requests. The role holder will be responsible for analysis and reporting to understand financial performance of risk strategies and customer behaviours as they impact the P&L. The holder will partner closely with Finance, Marketing, Execution, and MIS reporting teams, database teams to deliver robust strategies and best in class strategy reporting and analytics. Accountabilities Development of measurable strategies for cash and line increases which optimise the risk and reward performance through understanding of customer behaviours and impacts to key P&L lines Analyse the relative success of the strategy suite and deliver strategy insight, recommending corrective actions as necessary Assist with management and improvement of control environment. Proactively raise self assessment issues and execute self-assessment of strategy programs to ensure they are delivering expected actions Test, learn and rapid cycle re-forecasting of strategy financial performance Partner with CRM internal stakeholders to deliver effective analytical environment that supports comprehensive strategy performance tracking and P&L re-forecasting Partner with key stakeholders from across the business as required to develop and execute co-ordinated, robust, compliant and coherent treatment strategies Innovation of strategy development and test design, using learnings from existing program insight, solving to P&L objectives Present at Strategy Tracking Forums, sharing strategy performance against expectations. Communicate balance growth strategy performance and context across key stakeholders Coaching of Band 6 analysts. Candidate Profile SAS Enterprise Guide programming knowledge Advanced Excel skills to access Cube data and aid presentation of analysis (not including VBA) Also able to use complex data to drive strategy and business changes Ability to construct executive presentations Understanding of behaviour score inputs, bad definition and usage Extensive experience of completing complex data analysis from a wide analytical brief Proven ability to create proposals and provide recommendations on the back of analysis Proven ability of creating impactful presentations Proven numerical and analytical background Ability to communicate crisply and candidly Understanding of P&L and its key drivers Technical skills including the ability to use SAS/SQL to interrogate and summarise data Graduate maths, economics, engineering or equivalent Please send your CV or call us on 01706 825 199.
