Marketing Manager - Exhibitions - Events - Head of Marketing is required by a major UK & International B2B Exhibition organiser to manage the marketing strategy, implement it and manage the marketing plan for a major B2B exhibition portfolio, also to manage 1 marketing executive. You must have a proven track record of implementing successful campaigns for B2B exhibitions and conferences , experience of planning and executing a marketing strategy and marketing plan through an entire exhibition / show life cycle . Proven use and understanding of complex databases and segmentation techniques There are over 30,000 visitors coming to the exhibition and over £500k in revenue generated therefore we require someone comfortable with those figures, so done marketing for a similar sized show. Must have exhibition marketing sector experience. ROLE: Marketing Manager - Exhibitions LOCATION: London BASIC SALARY: £42k BONUS: 10% ROLE: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering measurable marketing campaigns on time, within budget and to a consistently high quality whilst helping to achieve the strategic business objectives across the portfolio. Skills: · A proven track record of implementing successful campaigns for large scale B2B exhibitions and conferences · Demonstrable experience of man-managing large show/project teams · Experience managing multiple temps and/or freelancers simultaneously on separate projects · Complete appreciation of the registration process for major events including all elements of exhibitor customer service and onsite traffic and admission management · Proven use and understanding of complex databases and segmentation techniques · Thorough knowledge of company’s products · A rounded, thorough understanding of the full range of marketing communication tools · Excellent writing skills · Excellent project management, planning and organisational skills · Excellent interpersonal and communications skills · Literate and numerate Financial awareness.
