Senior HR Business Partner This is a unique opportunity for a commercially astute Senior HR Business Partner to join a reputable organisation at a time of significant growth. In order to support that growth the client is seeking a bright Senior HRBP to champion and execute the commercial division’s HR agenda and to develop and drive forward strategic HR improvements. This role will be to coach and support the senior leadership team to achieve performance objectives and facilitate cultural change which is likely to prioritise talent management and succession and to build management and leadership capability. Parts of the organisation are moving into new arenas and how certain products are marketed will need to change and evolve. This therefore will have an impact on the skills needed within the marketing teams and the new appointee will need to be able to show how HR can restructure certain areas to support and drive forward this change. This role’s primary remit is to partner some extremely creative and intellectually astute senior commercial managers. Therefore the person coming in needs to understand marketing, commercial roles and remits in order to engage innovative personnel and to be credible within this environment. Person Specification Significant experience as an HR Business Partner with a 2i or first class degree from a good university. A qualification in marketing as well as HR would be wonderful. HR experience in marketing or the digital, creative arena is needed. Commercially astute with a proven track record of adding bottom line value on a business level. Excellent employment law knowledge with experience of consultation on restructures. Pragmatic as well as strategic, prepared to roll sleeves up and just get on with what needs to be done. Able to evidence adding value in a creative, leading edge organisation. Credible with the gravitas and influencing skills to challenge and push back at director level Experience operating as a change agent and achieving successful and lasting cultural change Significant professional HR experience at senior management level, which must include the design and implementation of leading strategic HR initiatives and organisational development. Experience in leading talent development initiatives – performance management, succession planning, and the creation of robust and actionable development plans Strong business acumen and ideally candidates with commercial operational experience, who have since moved into HR. Articulate with the ability to influence and challenge within a high intellect, creative environment.
