What to expect As a Junior PHP Web Developer, you’ll help build world-class websites, online systems and mobile applications that help my clients achieve their digital ambitions. You’ll collaborate with the team and our clients to consistently achieve the best possible results. Essential Basic knowledge of developing systems using PHP and MySQL A good understanding of object-oriented programming Experience working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and XML Good working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX and Photoshop Desirable Experience with open-source ecommerce platforms (specifically Magento and OpenCart) Experience with Wordpress Experience of integration with third-party APIs An understanding of onsite search engine optimisation Knowledge of database optimisation and different database models (EAV, Relational) Knowledge of version control systems (GIT, Mercurial and SVN) This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/66666538
