DCH in partnership with Plymouth Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) and The Zone have been awarded money from the Big Lottery Fund to improve the financial confidence of young people living in social housing in Plymouth.

An opportunity has arisen within this project for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the team to help make a positive difference in the lives of those we support and to promote independence and wellbeing.

As a Youth Support Worker you will provide a dynamic, high quality, responsive young person led financial confidence service for social housing tenants / residents. You will assist the Financial Confidence Worker in delivering 121 (and some group work) support around improving young people's financial confidence.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with vulnerable young people, knowledge of the issues affecting them and knowledge or experience of money management and effective financial services. You will also need good communication and computer skills.

Due to the nature of the role a DBS check will be required.
