Your role will be to dramatically increase the visibility and reputation of our client, the individuals within it and the startups they support. You will develop the mid and long term brand, communication and events strategy. Effectively communicate the vision, mission, products and track record to edtech investors and startups globally, creating inbound interest. You will use your entrepreneurial flair to develop, deliver and continuously improve multiple marketing channels and event programmes to do so, including delivering digital marketing campaigns and hosting global high profile events. Create and control the brand toolbox


- London based accelerator programme for startups aiming to improve educational outcomes worldwide
- The Programme is appropriate for edtech startups that span all stages of development: from functional prototypes to those with more significant traction seeking to expand into the UK market
- Our client work with the most sought-after VCs and Angels in London, giving the accepted startups a seamless way of connecting to investors

- Manage online presence:
- Creatively manage social media channels
- Maintain website
- Perform SEO and performance marketing

- Develop and execute a large scale content strategy
- Manage and build media relations
- Build and deliver event programme
- Position our client at the centre of the edtech industry by delivering edtech events with high profile speakers and partners to a global audience
- Organise pitch/speaker events in partnership with other large scale education / edtech / tech events
- Support delivery of international fast track events working in partnership with the Venture Hunter
- Build the profile of the Emerge team and individual's in the community, e.g. by organising speaker opportunities and developing thought pieces
- Make effective use of software to document and, to the extent possible, automate repetitive processes that are part of your role
- Independently manage a budget and working plan
- Hire and manage interns/staff to support you in your role


- This role will suit someone with an entrepreneurial flair who is also an efficient operator.
- You are naturally outgoing, probably feel at ease around groups of new people and your default is to work collaboratively and openly.
